How Does a High Concentration of CBD Make You Feel After Drinking It?

The question remains, how much CBD should one ingest to get the beneficial effects? Unfortunately, there is no clear-cut answer.

What Should I Expect?

In general, depending upon the dose and quantity consumed, within 30-45 minutes, one should expect to feel the balance and calming properties. You may sense more energy or intense focus during the day, while towards the evening, a relaxation leading to restful sleep. In other cases, to alleviate pain, swelling and perhaps relax or improve your mood for people with severe anxiety it may occur the first time or it might take regular ingestion over a few days (up to a couple of weeks) for your body to adapt to the wellness properties.

This could be dose dependent. So many people who have tried CBD in low doses or did not consume it regularly may not have had enough over a long enough period of time.

How Much CBD Should I Take?

It seems wise to acclimate your body and your endocannabinoid system to the dose for a period of time (at least a few days).

Can I Overdose on CBD?

Participants’ blood and urine samples were evaluated every week for changes and also tests for physiological and neurological exams were conducted. Researchers concluded that no adverse CBD toxicity nor adverse side effects resulted. If there are side effects, these are generally limited to tiredness, diarrhea, or loss of appetite.
